We work directly with suppliers and buyers to enable simplified transactions for both by reducing challenges of language barriers, long negotiation periods and cumbersome shipping logistics. Due to the current market situation, trusted medical supplies at transparent pricing are difficult to come by, and MedSourceHub aims to diminish these barriers by pre-vetting suppliers and products listed on MedSourceHub’s marketplace.

Who operates MedSourceHub?

MedSouceHub was created as an online medical supplies, consumables and equipment marketplace, primarily targeting private-sector organisations, hospitals and the public agencies or organisations with smaller demand needs. MedSourceHub is managed by Arcadier, a Singapore-headquartered and award-winning online marketplace technology provider, which offers marketplace platform solutions. Arcadier has enabled the creation of 10,000+ marketplaces in over 170 countries, with 320+ monthly signups.

How can I trust the suppliers listed on MedSourceHub?

MedSourceHub aims to ensure a certain level of supplier security, from company legitimacy to financial ability. All suppliers on MedSourceHub Suppliers go through a risk-based screening and due diligence process before they are listed on the marketplace. This includes:

Who are your suppliers and where are they from?

Currently, our suppliers include Fortune 500 companies and come from Singapore, China and Indonesia. MedSourceHub transparently shows who the distributors and suppliers on the marketplace are. For every product, you can view who is providing it, and can click on the name to view more company information.

How do I purchase products on MedSourceHub?

Where are you able to deliver to?

MedSourceHub ships to all countries as long as the products are approved for import into these markets. We partner with a select few logistics partners to ensure a shortened delivery time and the best possible rates. However, for any given order, countries available for shipping is dependent on the specific products ordered, lead time required, and minimum order quantity. What are the delivery methods available?

Sea and air freight are both available. Shipping methods available for any given order are dependent on the order quantity purchased, expected delivery time, place of origin and destination. Shipping methods available are:

  2. FOB (Free On Board)

  3. CFR (Cost and Freight included)

  4. CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight included)

What is the delivery time?

How do I know that the products I’m purchasing are authentic?

Products listed on MedSourceHub go through a vetting process that includes certification verification checks with the relevant issuing bodies, as well as QC standards documentation and product information provided by the suppliers. with certificates typically shown on each product page. All certificates provided by suppliers are shown on the individual product’s page, with the verification status of the certification(s) under ‘Certification Validity’. These are openly viewable on the platform.

How much do I need to pay upfront?

Payment terms will be agreed upon during negotiation. Due to the current high demand situation generated by COVID-19, it is a common practice that payment is made in-full upfront before shipment by the suppliers.

Who signs the contract? Is it a direct contract?

A direct contract will be signed between you (the Buyer) and MedSourceHub once the relevant terms and conditions have been agreed upon. The contract will include products, quantity, lead time, shipping information, payment terms etc. Due to current fluctuating prices of suppliers and FX rates, our experience suggests that any contract once sent is valid for 24 hours only as suppliers’ prices are responding to the fast-changing market supply and demand conditions. Once 24 hours has passed, the contract is deemed invalid and will need to be renegotiated.

How can I speak with the supplier directly?

Due to the nature of the MedSourceHub Marketplace, buyers are not able to communicate directly with suppliers. Many of MedsourceHub suppliers do not speak English or are having a high influx of enquiries and thus are using MedSourceHub as an intermediary. What is your return policy?

All transactions made on MedSourceHub are final. For any goods damaged in transit, shipping insurance will be used to reimburse the cost of the goods. However, if there are any discrepancies with the goods received, MedSourceHub is unable to support refunds, outside what has been agreed upon in the contract. It is recommended that Buyers purchase at their discretion and are aware of any associated risks. Samples of products are available upon request for relevant testing and verification assurances.

What happens if the items I purchase are fake?

MedSourceHub tries to vet every product on the marketplace to the best of its abilities to ensure genuine products, as advertised. All the information that MedSourceHub is able to receive from suppliers is transparently shared with buyers. Buyers are also able to request samples before purchasing to ensure authenticity. As such, all purchases are final. It is recommended that Buyers purchase at their discretion and are aware of any associated risks.

What currency do you accept payment in?

​​​​​​All products, orders and contracts are quoted in USD. All payment is to be made in USD. 

Why can’t I purchase directly on the MedSourceHub Marketplace?

​​​​​Due to the current daily market fluctuations due to high buyer demand, most suppliers are unable to provide set listed costs for their products or ensure available stocks. As such, purchases are not made directly on MedSourceHub, but rather through expedited negotiations with MedSourceHub as the intermediary. MedSourceHub is able to expedite the negotiation process as we have previously engaged suppliers to procure the lowest indicative pricing possible according to volume sales.

Private sector organisations include hospitals, retailers and hospitality businesses. Public sector organisations include government agencies, healthcare institutions, hospitals and schools.

What quantities do your buyers want to source?

​​​​​​Quantities vary across buyers, however, all are B2B purchases that support minimum order quantities to purchase in bulk. All suppliers are able to set minimum order quantities and bulk pricing incentives at their own discretion. 

Do you do a tendering process?

​​​​​​No. MedSourceHub is a spot procurement marketplace, meaning buyers purchase goods directly via the platform. There are requests for bids or deadlines for proposals. Buyers view all available products on MedSourceHub and contact the marketplace to procure the relevant goods directly.

Who is the contract between?

​​​​​​Contracts exist between each Buyer and MedSourceHub based on individual orders. Separate agreements exist between each Supplier and MedSourceHub that stipulate how products are to be procured and 

Do I need to list all my products? Can you help me list my products?

​​​​​​No. It is completely up to each supplier what products are to be listed on MedSourceHub. Suppliers can list as little as one (1) product or their entire inventory list. MedSourceHub offers product uploading services and is able to put your desired inventory list onto the marketplace platform according to supplier’s specifications as long as products pass MedSourceHub’s vetting process.
